THE FITSOM METHOD

The Fitsom Method is based off of four pillars that we have developed here at the studio for over a decade. Both our clients and our practitioners have found these pillars to be utterly crucial in optimizing physical performance, day to day living, and resolving complications caused by poor posture and pain. Starting with mindset, the pillars are also to be seen as the steps one must take here at the studio. After having effectively mastered each, you will be able to carry their lessons with you for a lifetime.

 

MINDSET

We believe here at Fitsom that everything starts and ends with the mind. Cultivating a healthy mind set is absolutely critical for longevity and positive change.

BREATHING

Learn to calm the nervous system in any situation that triggers stress. We instill techniques used to regulate breath in order to control the state of the body and the mind.

FASCIA

Or more specifically, self-myofascial release, is a self massage technique that utilizes an assortment of tools combined with focused breath to help relieve pain, release muscle tension, and increase body awareness.

MOVEMENT

We incorporate functional movement exercises into our clients routine to develop a sustainable self care practice that maintains a harmonious relationship between the body and mind.

MEMBERSHIP

We suggest memberships for those who are serious about improving their anatomical wellness by combining class practices with massages or one on one’s, depending on the individuals needs.

 
 
 

NEURO-
MUSCULAR MASSAGE

For stiffness, spasms, and pain in the body. This form of massage applies alternating levels of concentrated pressure using fingers, knuckles, or elbows.

 

12 SERIES

For people who suffer from chronic pain and postural issues. This is a personalized pathway to get to the root causes of these complications and treat them with the utmost care and attention.

 
 

TheraGUn massage

For the person who is looking for fast acting recovery from intensive muscular strain. Great for quick relief from a workout or general tension.

 

Classes

We suggest group classes for people who wish to optimize their posture, athletic performance, decrease stress levels, and learn how to care for their body in an upbeat and community oriented setting.

 

Ice baths

For anyone with an open mind who wants to improve immunity, increase metabolism, feel energized, along with a slough of other added benefits. Our ice baths are used in conjunction with the Wim Hof Method.
